Tadej Pogacar: Unstoppable - Andy McGarth

I'm an avowed Pogacar fan, loving his desire to race and positive reaction to being raced. So I approached a biography of his career so far from a positive starting point.

This is a collage of material assembled from old interviews, magazine articles, and third-hand memories; all merged and then claiming to be an biography. Did I learn some things - yes. But could it all also have been covered by a 4-page spread in a Sunday paper - yes.

The writing has the usual hallmark of a writer padding to reach a target word count - Tadej doesn't have a "GPS unit" on his bike, instead we need to be told he has a "Garmin Edge 830 GPS unit".
