What painting I do is purely for fun and for a total change from work (where creativity is more and more not encouraged - innovation and creation are not processes).
2012
A quiet year so far. Waiting for that mysterious spark of creativity that will suddenly explode into a dozen ideas like it did last year. Still a few so far to keep the habit of sitting and drawing a little each day ticking over. Fun with letters and fun with bike parts.

2011: Hammer and Hacksaw Set
It began as a joke between bicycle mechanics about the only tools that you needed to do any job. I think one of us wandered into the bike shed carrying a big mallet from a camp site task. And ended in a series of picture we used to decorate the bike shed the next year.

Slightly more ambitious, a reworking of a Soviet era propaganda poster, but with adjustments for our cyclist and mechanics theme.
