What could I do? Excellent limited edition prints from an artist who donates the money to charity and likes bikes and sci-fi. I bought these three. http://www.raid71.bigcartel.com/

If I could afford a real Klimt I would be very happy. Sadly like most of us I have to make do with prints. A large copy of this one adorns the hallway. |
I love these great strong simple images for an artist called Hans. The first used to be at the top of the stairs. But when I was redecorating the dining room, the great expanse of white wall begged for some strong colour.

... and having left a space at the top of the stairs it had to be filled too.

![]() Norfolk Summer I looked at this picture so many times I had to admit I liked it and should just buy it. It's small but its title is accurate. It captures so many fields I went by and through when growing up in Norfolk. Shame the artist is from Suffolk but that's not his fault. |
![]() Harvest Supper It's almost there but to the best of my knowledge no British artist has yet embraced the black polythene wrapped bales of our modern summer landscape, like so many gigantic rabbit droppings. |
I bought a couple of John's paintings several years ago. Last year I bought a picture I liked in a local art show and only discovered afterwards that it was by John afterwards, so clearly something in his style of lighting appeals to me. John's style is varied but his urban landscapes are great.

I missed the chance to buy an earlier picture with a similar theme, so I didn't make the same mistake with this one. I like the picture and also the theme of the old mega highway still hidden under the modern replacement. |
